Your Insurance Company Has a Playbook.
So Do I.
I'm a former insurance claims adjuster who switched sides. I know how carriers evaluate claims, set reserves, and minimize payouts — and I use that knowledge to build stronger cases for injured people in Columbus.
Don't Take My Word For It.
"I have used Mr. Dixon 3 times now, without his help I would not have been able to resolve them to get to where I am today. In my experience he was super honest and genuinely cared. Thanks Sean!"
"When you think of what an attorney can do for you, he went above and beyond. Communicative, easy, and gives you results."
"Easy to work with, and he will go above and beyond to help you out. Very professional!"
Cases I Handle in Columbus
I handle personal injury cases across Columbus and throughout Ohio. Every case gets direct attorney attention — not a paralegal or call center.
Car Accidents
Rear-end collisions, intersection crashes, distracted drivers. I deal with the insurance company. You focus on getting better.
Learn More →Truck Accidents
Commercial truck wrecks involve multiple liable parties and bigger insurance policies. These cases require an attorney who can handle the complexity.
Learn More →Motorcycle Accidents
Riders face bias from adjusters before their claim even gets evaluated. I know — I used to be one of those adjusters.
Learn More →Pedestrian Accidents
Hit by a vehicle while walking or crossing the street? Pedestrian injuries are often severe. You shouldn't have to figure this out alone.
Learn More →Slip & Fall
Property owners have a duty to keep their premises safe. When they don't, and you get hurt, they should be held accountable.
Learn More →Premises Liability
Injured on someone else's property due to unsafe conditions? Property owners and businesses can be held liable for negligent maintenance.
Learn More →Dog Bites
Ohio holds dog owners strictly liable for bite injuries. I handle the claim so you can focus on healing, not paperwork.
Learn More →Catastrophic Injury
Spinal cord injuries, amputations, severe burns — injuries that change everything. These cases need an attorney who understands the full lifetime cost.
Learn More →Traumatic Brain Injury
TBI claims are routinely undervalued by insurers because symptoms aren't visible on x-rays. I know how adjusters discount these claims — and how to fight back.
Learn More →Wrongful Death
When negligence takes a life, the family deserves answers and accountability. I guide families through wrongful death claims with care.
Learn More →I Used to Work for the Other Side.
Before I became a personal injury attorney, I worked as a claims adjuster at a major national carrier. I evaluated injury claims, set reserves, took recorded statements, and negotiated settlements. I learned every tactic insurers use to pay less than a claim is worth. Then I switched sides.
Read My Story →- Quick settlement offers are designed to close your file before you know the full extent of your injuries.
- Recorded statements are used to find inconsistencies that reduce the value of your claim.
- Gaps in medical treatment are flagged as evidence that your injuries aren't serious.
- Social media posts are monitored and used against you — even innocent ones.
The Stories Behind Each Number.
Four recent settlements — and what each one took to win.
Carrier paid in weeks. Before our client even had surgery.
Uninsured motorist claim. We built the case file fast and pushed the carrier to pay policy limits before our client had her procedure — so she had funds for treatment and time off work without waiting for the case to resolve.
National retailer denied liability. The lawsuit changed their mind.
Slip and fall at a major retail location. The retailer fought liability pre-suit. Once we filed, they preferred settlement to trial.
Insurer blamed pre-existing conditions and offered $20,000. We got the full policy limits.
Uninsured motorist claim. The crash damaged our client's teeth in a way that required full top and bottom restoration — partial fixes would have failed and required full replacement anyway. Expert dental opinion confirmed the full restoration was caused by the crash.
Carrier blamed everything but the crash. Settled in litigation.
Rear-end collision. Back injury. The insurer argued our client's age, physical job demands, and prior conditions caused the pain. Medical evidence developed during litigation said otherwise.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Each case turns on its own facts, evidence, and applicable law. Amounts shown reflect gross recovery before attorney's fees and case expenses.
Four Steps. Zero Upfront Cost.
